LIST OF RESULTS

Our team this year was quite small, and unfortunately one member had to withdraw due to illness on the day itself, so we ended up with only three competitors. However, where we lacked in quantity, we certainly didn't lack in quality, as we managed to win more prizes than usual! The Adjudicator this year was Mrs. Joan Foster, who had some extremely encouraging and complimentary things to say, and all in all everyone enjoyed a very successful day.

Here are some of the highlights from this year's performances:

• Max Muir producing some lovely 'singing tone' in his performance of Creatures of the Night by Kevin Mayhew.
• Euan Lee showing just how versatile he is by playing works by Scarlatti, Liszt, Gershwin and Beethoven.
• Gemma Henley giving a stirring performance of the First Movement of the Sonata in D major by Clementi.
• Euan Lee performing a truly dream-like interpretation of Autumn Moon on the Calm Lake by Chen Peixun.

In addition to the trophies mentioned above, the prestigious Peter Gray Memorial Shield and Bursary, for a promising competitor in School Years 7 to 13, was awarded to Euan Lee
